After we assess your skill levels, our teachers will help you improve your English!
Our group classes will have a maximum of 6 students and ALL classes will be taught by American teachers! This means that you can have personalized small-group instruction from American teachers without having to go to America.
Our current study plan is 5 hours per day and each hour covers a different subject. For example, one hour will cover pronunciation, another grammar, another conversation, another reading, and then another will cover writing. Each 1 hour class will have 55 minutes of class time and a 5 minute break before your next class. The normal class day starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 16:00 PM. You also have 1 hour for lunch.
Medical Insurance Option
Foreign students coming to the Philippines often pay hundreds of dollars in insurance cost they might never use. Here at ETHOS, we offer student accident and illness medical coverage that will cost as low as $8 per week. We know the costs for medical care here in Cebu. We have a coverage plan just right for students. It will pay for doctors, tests, hospitals, and medication. You pay the premium before you arrive and if anything happens to you that is covered by the policy we will help you get the help you need, and pay for everything. The policy does not cover pre-existing conditions and it has an annual maximum coverage limit of 200,000 Pesos. This means that if you get sick and need to see a doctor, we will take you to the clinic and pay for the visit, any medical tests, hospitalization, operations, and medication up to a maximum of 200,000 Pesos each year. We can insure you from one week up to two years! Contact us for cost details!

We also have several housing options to choose from. Our “home stay” option, where you stay in the home of one of our American families is our most popular. This lets you live in an American English environment during your time with us. You can also choose to have a private or shared room. Home Stay includes breakfast on weekdays, but not on weekends and no lunch or dinner. Home Stay spaces are limited and are booked on a “first come, first served” basis!
We also have different housing options available. If you want to stay in school housing, we have dormitory rooms where you can share a room with other students. The dorm stay option does not include meals but all dorm facilities have a complete kitchen where students can cook food.
Of course, if you want you can stay in the city in any of the hundreds of boarding houses and hotels. There are several we can recommend that are close to the school. We can take care of the booking for you if you like. Tell us what you would like and we will set it up for you!

Family Study Program
We also offer special study options for families. Children 10 years and older study with the parents in class. Children 5-9 years have more basic classes that balance study time and play time. Children below 5 have a day care program that introduces them to English while they play under the supervision of our staff. There are different housing options for families and so contact us for more details.
We also offer English camp for kids during their home country’s school summer vacation time. We can accommodate groups from 6 up to 20 at one time.
