ETHOS Discount Policy FOR LOCAL FILIPINO Customers

At ETHOS, we recognize the financial hardship being faced by most of the local population. Therefore, we want to help our local students save as much money as we can. To do this, we have several discounts built into our pricing system.

Discounts available for Japanese studies

Our Japanese study programs have a fixed number of lessons.

• Our JLPT program has three levels (N5, N4, and N3) and each level has 150 hours for each. Each level is divided into six (6) modules of 25 hours each. (6 X 25 = 150) Students pay for the JLPT program one module at a time.
• Our JFT, Beginner, and Kid's programs each have a series of courses. Each course has four (4) lessons of 2-hours each, for a total of 8 hours per course. Students pay for one course at a time.

Discounts available for English studies

Our English study programs have mixed types of lessons.

• Our Public Speaking program has only 12 lessons, from 1 to 2 hours each class meeting. There is only one course and it is only offered as a CLASSROOM study. Students pay for the course before the classes begin. While this course is not included in the discount program described below, we do mark down the price from time to time.
• Our American English courses, both ONLINE and CLASSROOM, provide all students, local and foreign, with discounts based upon the number of weeks of study, and are not included in the discount program described below.

Here is how the LOCAL STUDENT discount program works!

• If a student who wants to enroll in at ETHOS convinces another (1) person to enroll at ETHOS during the same time period that he/she is enrolling will receive a 25% discount on the tuition price for the current course/module for which they are paying. (The friend does not necessarily have to enroll in the same course/module as the student who referred them. Please note that the friend must pay the full price.)
• If the student convinces two (2) persons to enroll at ETHOS (and pay) during the same time period, that student will receive a 50% discount on the tuition price for the current course/module for which they are paying. (Only the student who refers the friends will receive the discount. The two friends will pay the full price.)
• If the student convinces three (3) persons to enroll at ETHOS (and pay) during the same time period, that student will receive a 75% discount on the tuition price for the current course/module for which they are paying.(Only the student who refers the friends will receive the discount. The three friends will pay the full price.)
• If the student convinces four (4) persons to enroll at ETHOS (and pay) during the same time period, that student will receive FREE TUITION for the current course/module for which they are paying.(Only the student who refers the friends will receive the discount. The four friends will pay the full price.)

EVERYONE in a group can save money!

This creates an opportunity for everyone in a group of friends to enroll at ETHOS and save money! For example, let us say a student wants to enroll a friend in a JLPT module.

• The current local student cost for a module is ₱ 3,999.00, and so a 25% discount on that would be ₱ 1,000.00!
• Therefore, the student would only pay ₱ 2,999, while the friend would pay the full ₱ 3,999.00 price. Right?
• However, they COULD combine the two cost amounts (₱ 2,999.00 + ₱ 3,999.00 = ₱ 6,998.00), and then divide that total cost by 2!
• This would equally divide the savings between them, and they each would pay only ₱ 3,499.00!

We can only do this for all our JAPANESE LANGUAGE courses -- both CLASSROOM and ONLINE! Our ENGLISH LANGUAGE courses have a different discount system. Contact us in the space below for any questions you might have.
