How Much Does It Cost To Study At ETHOS?

Before we take you to the price charts, we want to be very clear about what IS and what IS NOT included in the prices you will be seeing in the charts. So, please look carefully at the following lists before you scroll down to the price chart for the different study and housing options.

Also, please know that there are Immigration expenses you will have to pay if you come study in any school located in the Philippines. There is a link in the menu above to the ABOUT IMMIGRATION page that will explain all of this to you.

These things ARE included in the price:

  • Airport transfers.
  • Tuition and study materials.
  • Use of the school facility.
  • All taxes and service fees.
  • Purified drinking water at school and in ETHOS housing facilities.
  • Housing (if you choose ETHOS housing).
  • WiFi at the housing and school facilities.
  • Travel and immigration assistance.
  • Also: Breakfast on school days for HOME STAY students.

These things ARE NOT included in the price:

  • The fees for SSP and ICARD requirements. (See About Immigration page in the menu above.)
  • Any visa extension fees. (See About Immigration page in the menu above.)
  • Outside housing cost. (If needed)
  • Daily meals and snacks.
  • Transportation in the city.
  • Laundry service.
  • Cell phone service.
  • Medical expenses.
  • Expenses for tourist activities and shopping.

Here are price charts for our FAMILY PROGRAM studies WITH HOUSING options:

Our prices for the FAMILY PROGRAM are lower than our prices for individuals coming alone. To qualify for the family rate, there must be at least one (1) parent and one (1) child and they must study for at least one (1) week.

The upper chart contains prices for our 4-HOURS PER DAY study program. The lower chart has the prices for our 5-HOURS PER DAY study program.

The left portion of each chart is for the HOME STAY housing option while the right portion is for DORMITORY. Each chart has rows that provide price quotations for 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 12, 16, and 20 weeks of study. To find the price, go to the study and housing option you want, then find the column for the number of your family members coming, and then move down that column to the number of weeks you plan to stay. That price will be your cost for the whole group.

  • For example, if you want to bring one child with you and stay in our Dormitory with 4 hours of study per day for 20 weeks, if we multiply the 1-week price from the chart below (which is US$889.00) by 20 weeks, the total cost would be US$17,780.00.
  • However, if you look down the chart and find the line for "20" weeks, the price for 2 family members for Dormitory and 4 hours per day, is only US$14,841.00.
  • You would save US$2,939.00 for the two of you!
  • The longer you study, the more money you save!

All ETHOS FAMILY English classroom price charts below are like this.

The cost for outside housing will be different for each place and so we cannot provide charts for that housing option. If you want us to help you with outside housing, send us a request and we will check and get back to you. We will also send you the cost for tuition only.

Option 1: 4 Hours per day, Monday through Friday

Option 2: 5 Hours per day, Monday through Friday

How do I pay for the course?

We accept payment by credit card. Simply tell us what course and housing options you want, and how many weeks you want to study and we will email you a quotation for the package. If you approve the quotation, we will send you a credit card billing invoice through email for our non-refundable registration fee. Once we receive this registration fee payment, we will book your study and reserve your space in housing and your classes. We cannot book your study package without the registration fee.

Then, a few weeks before you are scheduled to arrive at ETHOS, we will send you a second invoice through email for the balance payment. You must pay this amount no later than 15 days before you leave your home country to come to ETHOS.
